Dancehall from Russia with Lady N

Lady N is a reggae and dancehall artist from Russia!!! Russian reggae is nearly unknown in Western European countries. Without any reason, as Lady N proofed to the audience in August 2011– on her first tour through Germany. The upcoming singer from Moscow has already been part of the Russian reggae scene for seven years. Starting as the keyboard player of “I-Alert”, she soon discovered her passion for singing. In 2005, she became a member of BoomBass Sound System and did several shows in and around Moscow. By that time, she also began to perform as a solo artist. Dancehall became more and more her favourite style and she worked on her skills during many shows. In 2009 she won a contest which was hosted by Germaican Records (Leipzig, Germany). This first international attention helped her to release her debut album “Time a come” in 2010. Additionally, she released the first Russian dancehall 7 inch “Wine fi you” and was awarded best female reggae and dancehall artist in 2010. In the summer of 2011, Lady N finished her first professional video clip. And after some releases for European producers, she is now working on her second album which is going to reflect her development towards becoming an international dancehall artist.
